Importing a CSV from Dashlane

  1. Go to the Dashlane application
  2. Choose file > export data > Unsecured archive (readable) in CSV Format
  3. Dashlane stores the value between quotes (“”), so open the CSV-file on Notepad (Win) or Textedit (Mac).
  4. Make sure that you delete all the quotes (“) in the file by using search and replace.
  5. Hypervault needs headers, so add the following on the first line: site, sitename, email, loginname, password
  6. It is possible that you need to move the content from cells to another column, so check that the value in a cell belongs to the right column. This requires some manual work, but will leave you free from uploading mistakes in a later step.
  7. Save the file
  8. Go to your dashboard on Hypervault.co
  9. Click the button to upload a file
  10. Locate the file on your hard drive, select it and click on import
  11. Match the columns you want to import. Select a group and client.
  12. Click on import to insert all the data in your vault.
  13. Delete the CSV-file from your computer
